Bwin Mobile Poker Review

We tested it over GPRS as well as over WiFi and we couldn’t notice much of a change, much due to a fact that it uses only 500-900kb data transfer/hour

The Application is based on Java for that reason it’s able to support wide range of phones. The installation size is 327kb.

Main Screen

Screenshot0002You’ll be presented with a main menu screen like what you see on your right. You can choose either to play for fun or real money. You can opt for quick seat option or select tables manually. However, The only games supported are Fixed Limit, No Limit and Pot Limit and option of choosing tables up to 10, 5 and 2(Heads up).
Screenshot0005No Limit games of stakes beginning at 0.5/0.10 are available at real money tables while at Play for fun tables have only three limits, 0.25/0.50, 0.50/1 and 1/2.

I was fairly impressed by the graphics. However online play is not the smoothest but it provides a decent playable experience. There are shortcut keys 1 and 3 for Raising and Calling. There is option to Check/Fold in advance and also shown the rake that’ll be taken.
I decided to give a try to Offline Mode where you can play against the CPU. Only Heads Up and 10 Player tables are available and in a heads up match up you start with 50% less stack than CPU. At highest difficultly level i.e Expert, I was easily able to bust CPU within 10 mins. So you might find that boring if you are a good Poker player.

Transactions

Bwin supports a good number of payment processors on their website but on Mobile interface you can only deposit through Credit Card, Paysafecard and Freebet voucher. So it’s recommended to fill up your Bwin balance through website before you leave for a journey if you use third party processors like Neteller or Paypal.

On a concluding note, this is a no brainer if you are looking to play poker on your java enable mobile phone
